Soul veteran Lee Fields released a new single "Ordinary Lives" on Friday (21 Jan 2021).
He debuted in 1969 and, as a solo artist and with The Expressions, has released over twenty albums since 1979 and countless singles. His last three albums have been for Big Crown records but the latest single appears on Daptone for who is is recording a new album due in the autumn.
The latest single was written by Daptone co-founder Gabriel Roth (aka Bosco Mann) and is from a previously unreleased Dap-Kings session and announces his return to the Daptone stable.
