Elizabeth T. Wyce "Yummy" Bingham
is the daughter of producer
Dinky Bingham (and God daughter of Chaka Khan) from Queens, NYC. She released her debut album "The First Seed" in 2006 on Motown which appears to have only been released in the UK.
I've posted the best track from the album "One More Chance" which was
also released as a 12" single. Her voice sounds very young on the track,
she was only 20 at the time it was recorded, but sounds younger.
Her latest single "Tell Me" (released 5 Sep 2021) is the first since 2015. It samples S.O.S. Band's "Tell Me If You Still
Care" ("One The Rise" 1983) written by Jimmy 'Jam'
Harris and Terry Lewis.
I have a feeling that this could be a biggie, if DJs get behind it as it gives a contemporary feel to an 80s classic.
