Cota [2021] - Confessin' A Feeling [Silent Giant]

Another sweet soul classic cover out of the Silent Giant stable. Cota provides his rendition of the Isaac Bolden song "Confessing' A Feeling". First recorded in 1970 by Tony Owens, but probably best known by Sly, Slick & Wicked's 1972 recording (below). The Ballads also recorded it in 1975.

Trish Toledo also recorded it for Silent Giant in 2018, which, for me, is a much better version (below). There have been a few other modern covers of the song. 

This version is too 'smoothed out' for me compared to any of the previous versions.
