This has been out a month now (2 Jul 2021) but I noticed that it has
appeared in the Breakers chart this week. It was going OK, but then of
course we have to have the obligatory 20 second rap injection at
2:20 ... which is probably why I didn't post it back then!
iLevel were a UK jazz/funk band from
the 80s signed to Virgin. They had one chart hit "Give Me" from
around eight singles and two albums. They had a few more tunes
which were club hits and / or big on the rare groove scene.
Two of the original members Sam Jones & Joe Dworniak have got
back together and released a new single "YBSA (Your Beauty Stands Alone)".
