Randy Muller (Brass Construction, B.T. Express, Funk Deluxe) is
behind Brooklyn Groove Machine who released this track "Deja Vu" last year (almost
exactly a year ago on 20 Aug) which has just had a set of Yvonne
Turner mixes applied and set loose today (6 Aug 2021).
Yvonne Turner used the pseudonym Evan Turner of her mix of classic house
track from Colonel Abrams "Music Is The Answer" back in 1984 and has over
150 other credits to her name on
Discogs. There some's background on her at Pitchfork.
The vocals are from an singer called Akabalan who I can find nothing about, but she does a fine job!
I think this is a BandCamp exclusive released today (as always click on label image to go to purchase or for more info)
