Jon Batiste has just released a video of "Freedom" taken from his latest
album "We Are" which would suggest that it's lined up to be the next
single. It has a feel of Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up" to my
ears.
The video has a retro 70s look and is set in New Orleans where he is from. He debuted in 2005 aged 18 and has released seven albums to date. He won Academy Award for Best Original Score for Pixar's animated comedy "Soul".
