This one is a real surprise. A cover version of Leroy Hutson's modern soul classic by Salford's Hatty Keane. It was Hutson's debut solo single after leaving The Impressions in 1973 who he joined in 1971 to replace Curtis Mayfield. It was released on Mayfield's Curtom label.
Keane singed to BGM in 2011 but didn't release her first solo single until 2017. Since then she's released a dozen singles and a five track EP "Nostalgia" last year.
I posted a previous single "Sing It" back in March, but since then she's released a cover of The Staples Singers "I'll Take You There" which it would appear, like the new single, it's not an 'official' release as it is not listed for sale anywhere.
"So In Love With You" is a live studio recording which only seems to be available to stream on Spotify i.e. not available for sale as yet. The video was posted on 16 Jun 2021.
