Chandra Currelley-Young is a singer/actress who starred in Tyler Perry's
"For Better For Worse" TV series as well as in several movies.
She was lead singer of The S.O.S. Band in the late 80s/early 90s (on their last two albums "Diamonds In The Raw" and "One Of Many Nights") and left
to pursue a career in acting.
This song is one of my favourite Al Jarreau tracks released as a single
in 1986 from his "L Is For Lovers" album. It had two stabs at the UK pop chart reaching #99 in Nov. 1986 and #98 in May 1987. It made #37 US R&B but didn't trouble the Hot 100.
