A throwback tune, sounding very much like the sort of stuff that Shakatak
were doing in the 80s, which isn't surprising, as the track was originally
recorded by the RAH Band in 1983. The RAH Band was (still is) a UK studio
group formed by Richard Anthony Hewson (RAH) and the vocalist on the
original was his wife Liz (Elizabeth Hewson).
This is a fairly faithful cover of the original version for those who like the 80s electro jazz/funk sound, which to me is completely devoid of any 'soul', it's basically a lightweight dance tune.
I can't find much info on the three artists except that Rude Jude is a
DJ/producer from London, Dabeull is a French funk producer and the singer is
Holybrune (aka Laura Chaudet) who is also French.
