A gospel album "Travelin'" by Shonda English was released yesterday. The highlights just happen to be the first three tracks: "There Wouldn't Be Me", "No Worries" and "Feels Good". The official lead single is "Step Right In" which was released in Feb '23.
Having begun singing at the tender age of three and playing the piano by
ear at the age of five, Shonda is also organist, percussionist, choral
conductor, composer, radio personality, actress and novelist. In 2013
she left her teaching career to pursue a musical career full time and to write her
first novel "Oni's Coffee" under the pseudonym E’ShaVonne.
Her father is the late Bishop William T. English, a former gospel
recording artist for HOB records and the album coincides with the tenth
anniversary of his death on 20 Aug '13.
Shonda also presents a weekly international radio show 'The Old Landmark
Gospel Hour'. Her knowledge of gospel music she attributes to her
father.

Feels Good was in my Top 40 of 2018. Wonderful track
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing me love! Take a listen to "No Worries". It has an acoustic feel to it.
DeleteThis album should be available internationally. I will notify my distributor about this matter. However; in the meantime, please continue showing love to my album. It's been 12 years in the making! I truly appreciate you all sharing my music. It validates my musical gift. Again, thank you!
