A new single, which has been gaining airplay from promo copies, was
officially released on Friday (18 Aug). It's a collaboration between
Ronnie Herel and Kenny Thomas with "The Sun Will Rise Again".
It's the final single before the release of Ronnie's new album "Another Way". The mixes on general release are the original mix and radio edit but
there is also a soulful house remix and instrumental produced by Café
432 available on
Traxsource.
Ronnie is a former BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ until 2012 when he left and later
joined Mi-Soul Radio where his is now the Head of Music. In the late 80s/early 90s
Ronnie was one half of duo Quartz with Dave Rawlings who had a UK top ten hit with a cover of Carole
King's "It's Too Late" which featured (introduced) Dina Carroll in
1991.
Kenny should need no introduction as his career now spans 35 years, releasing his debut, multi-platinum album "Voices" in 1991 after releasing several singles since 1988. He has achieved eight
UK Top 40, two Top 10 singles and two BRIT Award nominations. In
addition Kenny wrote his autobiography "Baring My Soul" in Dec of 2021.
