Due on Friday (31 Mar '23) is "It's A Soul Thing" by Ken@Work which is a reworking/remix (however you wish
to label it) of Connie Laverne's "Can't Live Without You".
It was Laverne's only recording and was only issued as a same-sided
(Mono/Stereo) white promo on GSF in 1974 and hence now commands four
figures. It has been reissued several times, the
latest by Outta Sight in 2021. Ralph Tee's Expansion label paired it with
Phyllis Hyman's unreleased (on 7") 1974 version recorded for Roadshow Records in 2003. Hyman's version was first released on a Phyllis Hyman compilation "Remembered" on Roadshow in 1998.
