The first of only two singles released by Ernest Mosely. Both sides
were reissued on Fryers in 2014. The in-demand Northern Soul classic
"Stubborn Heart" was reissued by Goldmine Soul Supply around 1998 (mistitled as
Earnest Moley) paired with The Shepperds "How Do You Like It" which was released as the flip to their version of "Stubborn Heart"
on Mirwood in 1967. Mosley's version is punchier than The Sheppards.
The original on La Cindy from 1967 is now approaching the four figure
mark for an issue and double that for a promo. Only five singles are
listed for the label owned by Leo Austell (who managed Betty Everett)
and Hillery Johnson who jointly also formed several other Chicago
labels such as Twin Stacks, Brainstorm, Renee.
I can't find any information on Ernest Mosely which is not really
surprising as he only released two singles.
Note that on Spotify it has also been filed under Earnest (not
Ernest) Mosley even though it is Ernest on the label.
