A new album "Working On My Karma" by Toronto duo dvsn who are producer Nineteen85 (Anthony
Paul Jefferies) and vocalist Daniel Daley founded in 2015.
They last appeared on these pages in Jul 2021 with a single "I Believed It" featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Mac Miller which sampled The
Continental 4's "(You're Living In A) Dream World".
The key attraction of the album is another sample from
The Manhattans "Don't Take Your Love" used on, funnily enough,
"Don't Take Your Love". It was The Manhattans biggest hit to date in 1974 reaching #7 R&B
and #37 Hot 100 and the song was written by Philly's Allan Harris, Bunny
Sigler and Ron Kersey.
The album is available in Explicit and Clean versions, The link on image is
to the clean version on Amazon but, whilst there is a clean version
of "Don't Take Your Love" on Spotify, there isn't for the full album.
