Boris Pilleri's Jammin' are a seven piece Swiss band from Berne established in 1976 with a Bay Area big band sound a la Tower Of
Power. They released a new album on Friday "The Blues Never Sleeps" which they describe as "rocky, funky, with a lot of groove and
soul, a bit of gospel and blues and a touch of pop."
The ten tracks consists of six original songs along with four covers,
Chuck Berry (Nadine), Buddy Miles (Them Changes), Johnny Adams/Lou Rawls
(Room With A View) and Johnny 'Guitar' Watson (Real Mother 4 Ya).
The core band is Boris Pilleri, Marcel Suk, Martin Kissling and Fabian
Baur accompanied by 'The Loyal Airforce Horns' with Andreas Beer, Pat
Schnyder and Valerio Lepori.
