Out today is a set of four John Morales remixes of Marvin Gaye's classic "I Want You". The
Main and Instrumental mixes were previously released in April 2009 on "Then & Now". I believe
the the Breakdown and Pianopella mixes are new, but may not be, but all four have been (re)released today.
UPDATE: It shows that you have to be quick onto these as today (20 Aug 2022) they appear to have been completely removed from Amazon and the last two tracks from Spotify.
The song of course was the title track of Gaye's 1976 album with the iconic artwork "The Sugar Shack". The original painting sold earlier this year for an astonishing $15.3m.
The important thing is to know if the mixes bring more to Marvin's masterpiece. Everyone will make their own idea, for my part it's done !!!
