Due for release on 7" on 1 Nov 2022 from Nashville's CA$H BONU$ (Andrew Muller and Nick DeVan) are two 80s influenced sides "Got Me Thinkin' Tonight" and "Joy & Pain". The A side was released digitally yesterday (12 Aug 2022) and features Amber Woodhouse on vocals and Pittsburgh's DJ/producer Buscrates on synth.
Whether or not "Joy & Pain" is a cover of the Maze classic I don't know at this point as no details are available.
"Got Me Thinkin' Tonight" sounds to me like a mix of The Cool Notes "Spend The Night" with flashes of George Benson's "Give Me The Night". Benson is also a Pittsburgh native.
The vinyl can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp. ($7 black vinyl and $8 metallic silver).
