The new single from Myles Sanko (who always reminds me of a blend between Bill Withers and Gregory
Porter) was released yesterday (4 Mar 2022).
Both his album
"Memories Of Love" (12 Mar 2021) and the standout single pre-released from it "Streams Of Time" (8 Jan 2021) were in the SoulStrutter end of year selections for 2021.
The new single "Where Do We Stand" is the opening track on the album which has been shortened from the 6:59
album version to a 4:30 radio edit.
Myles states that song is an outcry to his 'absent' father who was a
fisherman and never home as he was always at sea.
Sanko is from London, with Ghanaian roots, who first emerged in 2011 featuring on a cover of Stevie
Wonder's "Another Star" by Pagany. "Memories Of Love" is his fourth album
since his first in 2014
