More jazz trumpeting (following Willie Bradley already posted today).
This time from Lin Rountree from VA, now based in Detroit (who has just
featured on Conya Doss's latest album "Through Rose-Colored Glasses" on
the track "Show Me".
His new album "Fluid" (his seventh) was released on Friday (18 Jun 2021)
and the standout tracks from a soul perspective are "Me For Me" featuring
Lindsey Webster on vocal duties and, if you like it more on the jazzy
side, "With You" featuring Selina Albright is sensational.
However, if you like your jazz funk, then there are some other great
tracks including "Release" and "FuSion" in particular. This is an
excellent album and the best jazz album of the year so far to my ears.
Highly recommended.
