Silk & Nightwind is a jazz ensemble from Chicago formed
in the early 2000s. Their members have performed with luminaries such
as Lalah Hathaway, Will Downing, Boz Scaggs, Usher, Maysa, Brian
McKnight and Prince.
Their new five track EP "Tapestry Amour" consists of their own interpretations of Sade's "No Ordinary Love", Smokey Robinson & The Miracles "Here I/We Go Again" (1969), jazz standard "You Go To My Head" (a 1938 song written by J. Fred Coots) and ends with a jazzy
arrangement of Luther Vandross' "Don't You Know That" from his 1981 debut solo album. We believe that "All For You" is an original song written by group member Sydney Donaldson.
