We don't know what the background to this release is. It's by
Gigi Copeland and Lou Ragland on a Casino
imprint (now owned by Numero Group) on which Ragland released material in
the 80s.
Gigi Copeland is a gospel singer who also released a couple of albums on
the label in the mid 80s but we can't find any evidence that either have
released the song "Sunday Afternoon" previously so assume that Numero Group has found it in the can? If you know otherwise then let us know.
We don't recognise Lou Ragland's voice on the recording but he is credited as writing the song.
Unfortunately, it is not the same song as the in-demander from Dennis Lee
on Jenmark from 1972!

It is true that it is difficult to recognize Lou but nevertheless the song is very good.
