Jazz singer/songwriter Linda Woodson has just released
her fourth album "Come A Little Closer". It's, what she describes as, her first 'label release' and her
first album since 2016. Her first, "Meet Me Halfway", was delivered in
2006. Ms Woodson was born and raised in L.A. and when not singing is a
doctor of dermatology.
The album is a mixed bag with our choice cuts being the opener "Stolen Moments" and "FHJ" (faith hope joy). Most of the songs are self written but you may
recognise the Latin flavoured "La Costa" as it was recorded by Natalie Cole in 1977 as a single from
"Thankful".
