Throwback southern soul singer Jeff Floyd is known to many
of the modern soul scene for recordings over the years. He cut around four
albums for William Bell's Wilbe label between 2000-2012.
The first album spawned "I Found Love On A Lonely Highway" championed by Brian Goucher at the time. He later recorded a version of
James Fountain's Northern Soul classic "Seven Day Lover" (which was originally released on Bell's Peachtree in 1970) on his 2012
album "Watch Me Work". (included below if it's a new one on you).
Floyd has a new single out on Friday "Put It Back".
