Jada Weazel is a new artist who grew up in the
Aboriginal community of Woorabinda in Central Queensland. We presented
her first two singles "Hands Of Addiction" and "Skin" last month which were from a, then forthcoming, debut EP "No Peace" which was released on 1 Sep. The choice cut of the three new
songs is "Closer".
Jada followed her song writing ambition by spending time between
Brisbane and Melbourne, working with established producers to assist
the early evolution of her sound.
Whilst she states her early influences as Aretha, Whitney, Alicia and
Beyonce, her sound is more akin to Snoh Aalegra, SZA and H.E.R.
