Originally from Norwich but living in South London for the past ten years, Oscar Jerome has been making waves on the London jazz scene.
He released his third album, "The Spoon", in Sep '22 which spawned around four singles. Since then he's released a couple of reworks, a three track EP which included three of the album tracks and featured on two other recordings. So his first new song is "Far Too Much" initially released on 21 Jul with and extended mix added on 11 Aug.
It has a bit of a lowrider feel with riffs that remind us of "Crystal Blue Persuasion" (Tommy James & The Shondells (covered by many others e.g. Kelly Brothers, Joe Bataan, Gonzalez, Naturals, Invincibles and even Culture Club). This one really gets under your skin after a few plays.
