The Fuller Bros. are best know to the Northern Soul scene for their
classic "Time's A Wasting" on Soul Clock from 1969 (the same backing was
used on The Whispers' Soul Clock single "Remember Me" the same year).
However, their first recording, "Stranger At My Door", on GD&L in 1966 (also reissued on Soul Clock in 1970) has also long been popular.
It has been covered by Napoleon Demps feat. Miriah Avila and
released by Industry Music Group, so no doubt it will appear on 45 in due
course, but what will they put on the flip?
Both artists have featured on the label and here previously. Demps with the
superb deep soul cut "Remedy", he debuted in 2020 with "Norma Jean" on Daptone. Miriah Avila with two
covers, Sweet Breeze / Mike & Margaret "Slow Change Up" and the Linda Jones classic "Hypnotized".
We have noticed that since posting "Remedy" a music video has been posted
for it on YouTube, so have included it below as if you missed it first time
around then you're in for a treat.
