After a hiatus of two years since her debut solo album, "It's A Process", we posted Copenhagen's Coco O. (Cecilie Karshøj) single "Many Ways" last month. She has followed it up with "Someone Younger". The new song, once again co-written with with August Rosenbaum, is a far more mellow affair with quite a deep ballad.
On her last post we also shared a live performance of five tracks ("Unlock", "Arms", "Something Real", "Worry" and Ions) from her album.
Coco O. formed a duo with Robin Hannibal called Quadron in 2009 who released two albums. The name is derived from a Danish word meaning quarter race as they are both have biracial parents with Coco's father being Tanzanian descent.
She moved to L.A. for a few years and has worked with Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams.
