Toronto's Zenesoul turns out yet another quality neo soul tune
"Pain, no Percocet" on the heels of "Let Me Go" in March and "Love Island" in Jan. Her five track EP "Nene" last Sep. contained one of the tracks of the year with "I Don't Mind". She is becoming one of the most consistent of the neo soul artists for regularly producing good music.
Zenesoul is Angie Akhinagba who was born in Nigeria and now lives in Brampton, Greater
Toronto. She has been recording since 2018 and has been featured on the
pages many times, first in March '21 with "That Love".
I don't suspect for a second that this will get the airplay that it
deserves as sadly radio jocks just don't seem to like playing ballads, but
this is contemporary SOUL music not the MOBO dance tunes which seem to be
favoured!
Since we posted "Let Me Go" a music video for it has been uploaded to her YouTube channel, so is included below in the absence of a video for the latest single.
