Great to see that Roderick Harper has selected one of our
choice cuts, "All Day, All Night", from his recent album "2702" for the next single. The song really does get under your skin and becomes irresistible. It's the second official single following "Genuine" (13 Mar '23) although "Slice Of Life" was slipped out as an album teaser.
The song was written and recorded originally by jazz artist Carmen Lundy
on her 2001 "This Is Carmen Lundy" album, and has a Latin Jazz / Afro-Cuban rhythm. Whilst her original is a great version, we think Roderick has given it a fresh lease of life by putting his own spin on it.
The single is due to hit the streets on Monday (29 May '23). In the
meantime check out the full album.
