Georgie B. releases his sixth album, "Reflections", under The Groove Association
banner today (25 Feb '23)
exclusively available from his website. A full release on digital platforms won't be available until 23 Jul
2023.
The album consists of 13 tracks including his last single "You'll Never Know", two mixes of "Living The Good Life" (the
main mix
and the
Steppers Mix) and a new Feedback Mix of Rich Beggar's (Prem Sharma) "Pretty Brown Eyes" who's 'relegated' to background vocals on the new version.
In addition to Rich Beggar, also featured on the album are Deborah Bell,
Weston 'Wez' Foster, Dave Mascall and Ian Thompson.
Rather than post samples here you can listen direct from
Georgie B.'s website
where the album is available to purchase digitally and on CD for only an
additional £1 (which includes free download) from today.
A quick summary of the tracks, a solid set with no fillers, it has a
distinct old school feel but with a modern twist. A few highlights, but you
don't need me to try to describe them as you can listen and make up your own
mind, the album kicks off with funky little number "Best Believe It" which is reminiscent of something that I can't quite place. The potential
killer cuts include "Games" (an infectious stepper) and the two-stepper "Nothing Like This" along with "No Regrets" featuring Deborah Bell a smooth mid tempo modern soul dancer. The intro
to "Spend The Night" has a Timmy Thomas feel to it.
NOTE: Only three tracks will be sent out on promo so if DJ's want the full
album there's only one way to get it.
