A couple of singles which we thought we'd posted (?) that were released separately digitally two weeks apart last Dec and then paired for a vinyl release by F-Spot. The first batch on 7"s sold out quickly but a repress is under way.
The Rhythm Roots Allstars were the house band for Temple Bar club in LA in the late 90s. They co-wrote songs on "And The Anonymous Nobody" for De La Soul (who lost founding member David Jolicouer (aka Trugoy the Dove) earlier this week (12 Feb)) and recorded with the likes of Aloe Blacc and Ghostface Killah. As a bonus, included below is a cover of Prince' "I Would Die For You" featuring Raheem DeVaughn released in Apr 2010.
The A side, "Say I Do" features Fishbone's John Arthur Bigham on vocals,
whilst the flip "Island Hustle" is an instrumental.
