A new single from Emma Noble was released on 10 Feb '23. Her
last single "Back On Track" was a duet on Big A.C. with owner Nick Corbin so it's no big
surprise that the new upbeat retro single "Break Down The Walls" was co-written with Nick who also plays guitar and provides backing
vocals. I think this one will have appeal to the UK rare soul scene, as it
has a 60s/70s feel and is also available on 7" from Bandcamp.
Emma’s sound is influenced by her deep love for rare soul, funk and disco.
She started out as a backing vocalist for ‘New Street Adventure’ (Acid Jazz)
from whence Big A.C. founder Nick Corbin came from) and went on to write
with Lack of Afro (LOA Records) and has spent the last few years DJing in
the UK & Europe as double-decking duo Noble & Heath (Sophie who is married to Nick Corbin and helps run Big A.C.
Records).
