The sophomore album by OSHUN is "vol. ii" which follows "bittersweet vol. 1" from 2018. Three singles have already been pre-released, "100k" (15 Jul), "kali" (19 Aug) and "juju" (14 Oct).
OSHUN are a neo-soul/hip hop act formed in 2013 by Niambi Sala Mawusi
Scott-Murray and Thandiwe at NYU. Their name comes from a
Yoruba-based, West African, religion which in turn is named after the Osun
river in Nigeria.
All tracks are explicit except the "Iya's Intro", only because it's instrumental! The only tracks of
interest to this listener is "Nourish" and "You Can't (Love Me)" but perhaps the remainder of the set will appeal to hip-hoppers amongst
us?
