Numero Group bring us another pair of digital reissues from the Noah
Biggs Shiptown and associated labels based in Norfolk, VA. This time out
it is the only single released by Nat Fross with a
mid-paced funky "Too Many Skeletons In My Closet" (written by Lenis Guess) coupled with the soulful "Sweetest Girl In The Whole Wide World
" (credited to Biggs and P. Green).
It is one a of only four listed singles on the How Big label and Numero
Group has released all the other three digitally this year. i.e.
Ida Sands
and two from
Wilson Williams.
Discogs doesn't date this single and it's not listed on 45Cat who has
dated the previous Cat No. (220,930 Wilson Williams) as 1971 which would
seem about right considering Barbara Stant on Shiptown is 202,932 also
dated 1971 on both Discogs and 45Cat.
