Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah .. out with the flares and platforms for what,
from the title, I originally thought was going to be Chic's single from
back in the day ... but wait it's actually Archie Bell & The Drells
"Let's Groove".
The original was initially released on a promo 12" in 1975 and was their
first release on TSOP but wasn't officially released on 7" as Part 1 &
2 until 1976 after "I Could Have Danced All Night" and "The Soul City
Walk" on the label and was their last for the label before switching to
the main Philadelphia International imprint.
The mix is by Chicago producers Morttimer Snerd III and Steve 'Miggedy' Maestro (aka Stephen Maskall).
