The recent album release "So Wonderful" by Gloria Scott contained a few tracks recorded
back in the 70s when she was signed to Casablanca and was produced by
Barry White. One of those songs "There's No Cure For Me" is a cover of a
1969 single on Revue by Frankie Vance "Can't Break The Habit (Of Your Love)".
It is claimed that Frankie Vance is an alias for Frank Wilson (not 'that' Frank Wilson) but wonder if it could be a duo of Frank and his brother Vance, who jointly wrote the song? Only one other single is
listed for the artist name, the same year and label and also co-written by the brothers. They also sang together with
another brother Henry and David Lee Cason as The Remarkables who released
three singles on Audio Arts in 1965-66 with the third coming later in
1974.
