The clue to the contents of this new album from French
DJ/producer Stephane Deschezeaux is in the title "Flash & Lights" and label "Boogie Land Music". It consists of reworkings of 70s/80s dance tracks kicking off with
Freeez's I.O.U. on "Breakwater".
A few others I recognised without delving too deep "Like It, Like That
"(Timex Social Club "Rumours"), "Number One" (Patrice Rushen's "Number
One", "Fashion Express (High Fashion "Break Up"), "Got 2 Give It Up"
(Marvin Gaye), "Everybody Want's To Know" (David Ruffin "I Wish It Would
Rain Rain" (Acapella))".
So, if 80s boogie/funk/electro is your thing then you may appreciate this
album.
