Bobby Sparks is a gospel/jazz organist who is a member of
Snark Puppy and was also a member of The RH Factor
which included the very recently deceased (19 May) Bernard Wright. He has
worked with many luminaries including Kirk Franklin, George Benson, Fred
Hamond, Marcus Miller, Herbie Hancock, Lalah Hathaway and
more.
Last week (13 May 2022) he released his sophomore solo album "Paranoia". It's quite an eclectic mix, but one track in particular is making
waves in soul circles which is "Forever Mine" featuring the voice of Donessa Perry. (aka dNessa) from Atlanta, GA, which was actually released as a
single on 25 Mar 2022.
The only other track from the album of much interest from a purely soul
perspective is the ballad "Somebody Already Broke My Heart" featuring Antwan Smith" (included below).
