Mz Pat the Lady of Soul [2022] - To Be Continued [Self Released] (Full Album)

A new album from Mz Pat (Patricia Hatcher from Baton Rouge, LA) billed as Mz Pat The Lady Of Soul "To Be Continued" was released on 20 Apr 2022.

It's a southern soul affair with the standouts being a duet with Omar Cunningham "The Mess We Made" (a single from last June),  "Super Duper" (a Willie Garner (aka Sugar Billy) song  originally titled "Super Duper Love (Are You Diggin' On Me)" and released in 1974 and covered by Joss Stone on her 2003 debut album "The Soul Sessions") and "Love".

I'm must confess that I'm not a great lover of nu southern soul but this is not a bad album at all excluding "In This Room" which I'm sorry to say is pretty dreadful IMO and seems completely out of place on this album.
