One of Stevie Wonder's best songs of the 80s "Do I Do" has just received a reworking by Micky More and
Andy Tee (no not you're mum's favourite DJ from Starpoint
Radio moonlighting but an Italian producer) featuring
Angela Johnson.
It was a UK Top 10 pop hit for Stevie in 1982 and a 10 min plus version
was included on "Stevie Wonder's Original Musiquarium I". It was also covered by (Dick) Morrisey & (Jim) Mullen featuring
the vocals of Tessa Niles in 1983. They had previously covered "Do Like
You" from Hotter Than July" which featured Shakatak's Linda Taylor on
vocals.
'Inevitably' the tempo's been upped to the 'obligatory' 120 BPM house
tempo for the Groove Culture remake. It comes with a 5:52 Edit and 8:06 Extended vesrions.
