Toronto's Lydia Persaud has featured a couple of times on
the blog in recent months with her single "Good For Us" and her follow up "I Got You". She released her sophomore solo album yesterday "Moody31". It's possibly not going to be everyone's 'cup of tea' as her folk roots are
in evidence (she was a member of folk trio The O' Pears) but she has a
lovely, soothing, tone to her voice. Besides the 'killer' cut "Good For Us" and her
last single "I Got You", my choice cuts would be "Unsung" and "Let Me Be There For You" which has hints of "Good For Us".
