Jazz guitarist Norman Brown released his 13th album "Let's Get Away" yesterday, his fourth for Shanachie. The track that has been getting
attentions for a few weeks now is "I Won't Hurt You" as it's been on his Soundcloud page.
He began his career in 1992 with Motown jazz label MoJazz for whom he
released three albums before switching to Warner Bros. for the next three.
His next two albums were on Concord subsidiary Peake Records (founded by
Russ Freeman of The Rippingtons) followed by one on the parent label
Concord Jazz before he joined Shanachie in 2017 for his last four
albums.
The ten track album consists of nine original and a caver of ala
Schifrin's "Down Here On The Ground" and all, apart from "I Won't Hurt You", are instrumentals.
