Chicago Soul Spectacular describe themselves as "An
explosive extravaganza of authentic 60’s and 70’s soul featuring a full
horn section, back-up singers and costumes."
They are essentially a revue show who claim to be Chicago's Premier
Revue Show with with a host of members.
What appears to be their first recording "Don't Be Afraid Of Love" is a five track EP which contains a track titled "Love Doesn't Live Here Anymore" which I 'wondered' whether was going to be a cover of the Rose
Royce classic but it isn't. All songs are originals with a 60s feel,
predominantly written by Billy Bungeroth and Julie B Nichols who had the
video below of "There's A Man In Her Way" on her YouTube channel.
