The BB&Q Band (Brooklyn, Bronx & Queens)
was originally an Italian studio project when their first self-titled
album appeared in 1981. It wasn't until their second album "All Night Long" in 1982 they were an 'actual' group. They disbanded in 1986 with a
couple of members having solo careers such as as Curtis Hairston, Paris Ford and Kevin Robinson going by the name Chad.
Three of the members are back together Kevin Robinson (aka Chad who
released solo material in 1987-88), Tony Bridges and Bernard Davis and
are due to release a new album "The Legacy" to celebrate the 40th
anniversary of their first album as a band.
They have already released a single from the album back in March 2021 "Gotta Keep Movin' On" and another is due imminently "I Can't Stop Dancing".
An Opolopo Remix of "Gotta Keep Movin' On" is also is also lined up for release soon.
