The EP "American Gothic" from DeVita has been floating around relatively unnoticed
for a couple of weeks (released 15 Feb 2022). DeVita states that she got
her name from Evita Peron.
The clear standout is "Bonnie & Clyde" and "Eat Your Heart Out, Buddy Kane!" is also quite nice if you like more of an R&B vibe.
DeVita is from Chicago but as there is also a version of "Bonnie &
Clyde" on the EP sung in Korean she must have Korean heritage. She debuted
with a four track EP "Creme" in Apr 2020.
