London DJ Ben Macklin released his second album "By The Way" on 28 Jan in collaboration with London producer Le Flex who featured on the blog last May with a single "Love Of Mine".
It's a bit of a 'boppy' album with the vocalist on "(I Could) Fall In Love Tonight" (in particular) sounding a bit like George Michael. It doesn't
credit who the singer is, whether it's Ben, Le Flex or someone else. but the
voice sounds similar to Le Flex's single so I would hazard a guess that
it's him or the same session vocalist at least.
I think my pick would be the opening track "Summer Days" but all tracks are quite similar. It's a blue-eyed dance album not a
soul album, which I've tagged as Nu Disco for want of a pigeon hole.
