Ms. Kriss released "Night Cap" in July which did quite well on the UK soul charts. Today (12 Oct 2021)
she has released a new five track EP "Blacbuttafly" which includes "Night Cap".
I hesitate to call this a debut EP, even though only this EP and "Night Cap" appear on DSPs, as I believe her to be
Kristin Stimage
who has released material as long as 6 years ago on her
SoundCloud
page, although of course they may never have been officially released.
Also she sound's almost 'too accomplished' to be a new artist.
It would appear that she is originally from St. Louis, MO, but now lives in Atlanta, GA.
This is a very good 'debut' EP. I can't recommend a standout track as
they are all equally as good and it would be a bit churlish to choose
one.
