After being runner-up in Australia's Idol in 2005, New Zealander
Emily Williams joined a group called Young Divas. In 2010
she launched her solo career with a dance track titled "Spellbound"
followed two years later with her debut album "Uncovered".
Last Friday (22 Oct 2021) she released her third album "Thirty Something". There are a few nice tracks on it including a semi-acoustic version of
the Bacharach & David song "Say A Little Prayer For You" best known for Aretha's version but of course Dionne Warwick recorded
it first in 1967. Martha Reeves & The Vandellas actually recorded it a
couple of months before Aretha in 1968 on their "Ridin' High" album!
