Coast To Coast [2021] - Coast To Coast [Athens Of The North] (Full Album)

Coast To Coast were a Queens, NYC, band founded in the late 70s and came about after a meeting of minds between Mark Beiner and Ben Iverson who met whilst working in the same supermarket. Iverson had been in a 50s/60s group Ben Iverson & The Hornets and recorded as Ben Iverson & The Nue Dey Express in 1972. He also wrote for, and managed, Crown Heights Affair.

Beiner was only 17 when they met in 1978 and was an aspiring songwriter who wrote a song about his ex girlfriend Paula Vasta who's middle name was Marie who he called Paula Marie. This became the title of their first single which was released in 1982 and is the first track that has been pre-released from a full album due out on 22 Oct 2021 from Athens Of The North.
