LeGrand Whitt is a seasoned vocalist originally from Baltimore, MA,
now residing in L.A. who has been called 'The Black Sinatra' and the
'Sinatra of Soul', a 'LeGrand' title indeed for someone still relatively
unknown.
As far as I can tell he has released three singles since 2014 before his
debut album "Let's Keep It Real" (released 20 Sep 2021) which includes the two latest singles "Maintenance
Man" and "Game Over".
The only track that I can whole heartedly recommend from the album is "Do My Life" heavily influenced by Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues" with elements of
"Save The Children". In fact the remix sounds like an even tighter and
better mix, but does contain some rap.
He has quite of few more 'unreleased?' tracks on his
SoundCloud
page. If you wish to learn more about him there is quite a long bio
here.
